Applications

Safe handling of hot vessels after heating on a hotplate, heating mantle, or water bath. Cork prevents glassware from slipping and cushions grip to avoid marking or cracking the vessel.

Standard in chemistry, biology, quality control, and teaching labs — wherever samples are heated and need to be moved without bulky heat-resistant gloves.
