316 Stainless Steel Laboratory Funnel
Funnel manufactured in 316 stainless steel. The grade specified when 304 is not sufficient — better resistance to chlorides and corrosive media, standard in pharmaceutical, fine chemical and hygiene-critical environments.
Why 316 stainless steel
316 stainless steel incorporates molybdenum, which provides measurably better corrosion resistance against chlorides and dilute acids compared to standard 304. In laboratory use, this translates to longer service life and reduced risk of contamination from corrosion of the funnel itself.
