Surface Sampling Kit with Sterile Swab and 10 ml Tube

Single-use kit for surface sampling on equipment and facilities. Each unit is individually packaged and includes a sterile swab and a tube with 10 ml of ready-to-use solution. The swab is inserted into the cap — allowing handling without cross-contamination risk.

Available Solutions

• PBS (phosphate-buffered saline): Neutralising solution. Inactivates antibacterial agents such as chlorine and ammonium compounds present on disinfected surfaces.
• Saline solution: Also neutralising. Same function as PBS — indicated for food and dairy industry equipment where residual disinfectants are used.
• Buffered peptone water: Non-selective solution that supports recovery of stressed or damaged bacteria. Indicated for Salmonella detection.

Applications

Microbiological surface control in food processing, dairy industry and production environments subject to disinfection protocols. Also used in quality control laboratories performing Salmonella analysis and microbial surface counts.

Neutralising solutions are essential when surfaces have been treated with disinfectants — without neutralisation, residual biocides inhibit plate growth and produce false negatives.
