Polypropylene Screw-Cap Microtubes with O-Ring Seal, USP Class VI
Manufactured from FDA-compliant, USP Class VI medical-grade polypropylene. The screw cap incorporates an integrated O-ring that delivers an airtight closure and prevents accidental opening during centrifugation or long-term storage. Produced in a Class 100,000 cleanroom with no secondary assembly.

Applications
Storage and handling of biological samples, PCR workflows, degradation-sensitive RNA work, and any protocol where cross-contamination is not acceptable. The O-ring seal is particularly suited to long-term storage at -80 °C and high-speed centrifugation runs.
O-Ring vs. Snap-Cap
The threaded O-ring closure handles pressure differentials during freeze-thaw cycles more reliably than standard snap caps — accidental opening at 20,000 xg, a known failure mode with press-fit caps, is not a concern here.
