Why 316 L
Grade 316 L outperforms 304 against chlorides and aggressive cleaning agents — relevant when the spatula undergoes frequent autoclave cycles or contacts products that attack standard steel. The low-carbon variant (L) reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion following sterilisation.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The crevice-free mirror finish prevents residue build-up between uses. Compatible with laboratory dishwashers and autoclave. No special maintenance required — periodic visual inspection of the surface finish is sufficient.
