Typical Applications

Oxidant in chemical synthesis and industrial processes. Wastewater treatment and purification. Bleaching of textiles, paper and pulp. Surface and facility disinfection and sterilisation. At this concentration, also used as a precursor for preparing lower-strength solutions by controlled dilution.

Corrosive and strong oxidising agent — incompatible with organic materials, heavy metals and reducing agents. Store in a cool, ventilated location protected from direct light. Keep away from heat sources and flammable materials.

Usage Notes
