Models and Well Volumes
- Round bottom: 0.281 ml per well
- Flat bottom: 0.404 ml per well
- V-bottom: 0.219 ml per well
Flat bottom is standard for ELISA and absorbance readings. Round bottom facilitates cell resuspension. V-bottom concentrates the pellet at the apex — suited to haemagglutination and sedimentation assays.
