Polyethylene Pasteur Pipette Ungraduated Non-Sterile
Disposable Pasteur pipette manufactured in flexible polyethylene. Ungraduated — intended for liquid transfers where volume measurement is not required, only dispensing. Supplied in a dispenser box for single-unit withdrawal without contaminating the remaining stock.
Specifications
- Material: Polyethylene (PE)
- Graduation: Ungraduated
- Sterility: Non-sterile
- Presentation: Dispenser box
- Use: Disposable
Typical Applications
Rapid small-volume transfers in biology, microbiology, analytical chemistry and teaching laboratories. Also used in quality control for aliquoting where volume traceability is not critical.
The integrated PE bulb eliminates the need for a pipette filler — compress directly with the fingers to aspirate and dispense.
Practical Advantages
The dispenser box keeps pipettes dust-free and allows single-unit removal without handling the rest. Avoids the disorder typical of open bags. Disposable — no post-use cleaning, no risk of cross-contamination between transfers.
Compatibility and Limitations
Suitable for aqueous liquids and solutions with low chemical aggression. Not recommended for strong organic solvents or concentrated acids and bases that attack polyethylene. For applications requiring sterility, refer to the sterile version in the catalogue.
