LBsil 25 Silicone Vacuum Grease for Ground Glass Joints and Desiccators

Applications

Lubrication of ground glass joints on flasks, condensers, columns and other glassware with standard taper fittings. Also used on desiccator lids to ensure an airtight seal. In vacuum assemblies, prevents leaks at connections and allows disassembly without seizure.

Usage Note

Apply a thin, even film to the ground joint — a small amount is sufficient. Excess grease contaminates the sample and complicates subsequent cleaning. Do not use on components that will come into contact with strong organic solvents without first verifying compatibility.
