Two cover types for protecting the balance at different points: when idle and during active operation. Each addresses a distinct requirement.
Available types
- Dust cover: Encloses the balance completely when not in use. Full protection against dust, particles and airborne contamination.
- In-use protective cover: Transparent. Covers the keypad and display only. The balance can be operated with the cover in place — no need to remove it between weighings.
Typical applications
The dust cover is the standard solution at the end of the working day or during extended periods of inactivity. Prevents dust accumulation on the pan and internal mechanisms.
The in-use protective cover is suited to synthesis, quality control or production laboratories where splashes, reagent dust or frequent keypad handling with gloves are routine. Normal operation continues without exposing the electronics.
