Applications

Materials and Chemical Resistance

HDPE provides good resistance to dilute acids, alkalis and most common laboratory solvents. The LDPE plug adds flexibility at closure and improves the seal compared to caps without a plug insert. Not suitable for concentrated halogenated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Practical Advantages

Rectangular form eliminates rolling on shelves — cylindrical bottles shift, these do not. Integrated seal rings remove the need to tape closures, reducing preparation time when dispatching samples for shipment or audit.
