Glass counterweight with 10 mm internal diameter. Fits onto the end of the pump tubing to hold it at the base of the vessel and maintain continuous aspiration — eliminates interruptions caused by tube flotation.

Function

The counterweight holds the aspiration tubing at the bottom of the vessel throughout the pumping cycle. Without it, tubing tends to float or shift — particularly in narrow-neck vessels or with liquids in motion — interrupting aspiration and requiring manual intervention.

The upper olive grips the tubing without slippage. The lower nibs rest on the vessel base without obstructing liquid intake.
