Glass Counterweight for Aspipump Aspirating Pumps, 4 mm

Glass accessory designed to improve aspiration and dispensing performance in centrifugal and peristaltic pump setups. Keeps the tube end at the bottom of the vessel — preventing it from floating or shifting during pumping.

How It Works

The upper end carries an olive connector that secures the pump tubing firmly — no slippage from vibration or liquid drag. The lower end features counterweight nipples that rest on the base of the vessel, holding the aspiration inlet in the correct position at all times.

Specifications

  • Material: Glass
  • Internal diameter: 4 mm
  • Upper connection: Olive connector for tubing attachment
  • Lower end: Counterweight nipples with vessel base support
  • Compatibility: Centrifugal and peristaltic pumps

Applications

Laboratories running continuous aspiration or dispensing systems — particularly where the source vessel is narrow or liquid levels change during the process. Glass construction makes it suitable for organic solvents, dilute acids and reagents that attack plastic components.

Practical Advantage

Without a counterweight, tubing floats or drifts and the pump draws air instead of liquid. This accessory resolves that problem without modifying the rest of the assembly.
